  • Open Relationships, SCOTUS vs Conversion Therapy, Trans Bans & Fisting: a Kink for the Trusting
    2026/04/08

Jake Williamson and Sam Leicht are back, and Jake accidentally spoils that the kink of the week is fisting so at least you know what to prep for.

After a life update (Jake's offer on a house just got accepted, he's heading to Malibu to prep for HYROX World Champs in Stockholm, and he's eyeing a half Ironman post season. Sam, meanwhile, has been flattened by what might be the Cicada COVID variant and missed CrossFit Quarterfinals because of it), per usual, this episode the guys get into it all baby.

In the Gay News: The Supreme Court rules 8-1 to gut Colorado's conversion therapy ban, and Sam calls in researcher Dr. Daniel Aaron, whose study dropped the same week, to break down why even the liberal justices voted with the majority and what it might actually mean for the First Amendment going forward. Then: the IOC announces mandatory SRY gene screening for all women's events at the 2028 LA Olympics, effectively banning trans women and many intersex athletes. Nikki Hiltz had thoughts. Jake and Sam do too.

Kink of the Week: Fisting. Jake spoiled it at the top, so you've had time to prepare. The guys cover the trust, the logistics, the harm reduction culture the fisting community basically invented, and an anal Botox rabbit hole that nobody asked for but nobody turned down either.

LGBTQ&A: Open relationships; where do Jake and Sam actually land? And which pro sport would be most disrupted if more athletes came out? Baseball gets dragged. Jake thinks American football is fruity. Sam floats that Carlos Alcaraz could theoretically be gay but to be clear nobody is accusing anyone of anything.

Out of Bounds is the queer sports and culture podcast hosted by HYROX athlete Jake Williamson and health entrepreneur Sam Leicht. New episodes every week on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. And if you've got thirty seconds to spare, a five-star review helps more super gay listeners, like you, find us.

  • Louis Theroux's Manosphere Doc, Thirst Trap Math & Kink of the Week is Chastity
    2026/03/23

Jake Williamson and Sam Leicht are in rare form this week and the episode manages to connect Louis Theroux, thirst traps, cock cages, and the CrossFit Open without losing the thread once.

After recapping Jake's ongoing back saga and a stronger-than-expected CrossFit Open finish, the guys break down Louis Theroux's documentary Inside the Manosphere and why the same engagement playbook powering Andrew Tate also runs right-wing politics and your Instagram explore page.

In the Gay News: New York City's new mayor appoints a trans woman to lead the city's first-ever office of LGBTQIA+ affairs. And I Kissed a Boy and I Kissed a Girl have been quietly axed by the BBS - WTF? Funding issue, or something more deliberate?

The LGBTQ&A gets personal this episode as Jake pulls his Instagram analytics live to settle the thirst trap debate and the data is in queens (644,000 views on Speedos vs. 2,000 on a running shot). Plus: chastity cages unpacked, doing mushrooms with a shaman, and a CrossFit athlete getting called out for selling a peptide fantasy to the very people who trust her (here’s looking at you, @amandajbarnhart).

PETITION TO SAVE "I KISSED A" SERIES

Also this week: Jake's getting a new car, heading to London to compete, and celebrating six years with Paul, while Sam and Jared are catching Heathers off-broadway one night and Capote with Jesse Tyler Ferguson on Broadway another.

Out of Bounds is the queer sports and culture podcast hosted by HYROX athlete Jake Williamson and health entrepreneur Sam Leicht. New episodes every week on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.

  • Gay Party Culture, Steroids & Confidence vs. Competition
    2025/08/17

Welcome back! Episode 3 is packed with laughs, hot takes, and a few deep dives. Jake kicks things off with birthday celebrations, a Gymshark surprise, and a countryside wedding in Devon, while Sam recaps a wild (and slightly anxiety-inducing) weekend at Fire Island’s Pines Party. They unpack the role of party culture in the gay community, body image, and how PEDs and aesthetics intersect in sport.
