Krista’s everyday carry handgun is the Smith and Wesson M&P 380 Shield EZ, chambered in 380 ACP. She chose it because the slide is easy to rack, which matters because she has some arthritis and struggled with a stiffer slide on a previous handgun. The Shield EZ also has easy load magazines, an eight round magazine with eight plus one capacity, a grip safety, and an optional ambidextrous thumb safety.
