On this episode of Our Musical Heritage, host Betsy Brumley sits down with Rick Shelton, Vice President of Music Publishing at Daywind Music Group, for an inspiring look at a music career guided by faith and purpose.
Rick shares the moment he knew Music City was calling his name after his very first visit to a Nashville studio, and how his grandfather’s prayers laid the spiritual foundation for his heart’s desire. From meeting a prominent Nashville publisher at just 12 years old—and growing up to work alongside him as a close friend—Rick’s journey is far from the typical Nashville story. Tune in for a powerful conversation about divine timing, answered prayers, and how God weaves every step of our lives together.
