What do we do when we’ve tried everything and still don’t have the answer?

In this episode, Lee puts a bookmark in the story of the woman with the issue of blood—a woman who had suffered for twelve years before reaching for the Savior and discovering that she was seen, known, and made whole.

Jenny and Lee talk about what this story teaches us about our own relationship with Jesus Christ, the barriers we sometimes put between ourselves and Him, and the reminder that we don’t have to understand or control the outcome.

Our job is to reach.

ABOUT US:

The Dents In My Armor is a podcast of BECOMING for LDS Women. Using sources of truth, Jenny D. Webb and Dr. Lee Burdge unfold Gospel topics in relatable conversations about how the challenges of mortality are completely conquerable when you draw upon the powers of Heaven. Laugh and cry along with them as they tackle topics like relationships, parenting, growing older, loss, love, faith, and joy. Jenny and Lee firmly believe that the dents we sustain in our armor as we fight life’s battles do not define us, but are merely evidence that we can stand firm in our faith, and like the Savior, overcome the world.
