Before Jesus asks what we are producing, He asks where we are abiding.
A branch cannot bear fruit by its own effort. It bears fruit because it remains connected to the vine. In the same way, the Christian life does not begin with trying harder, accomplishing more, or proving our faithfulness. It begins with receiving the life of Jesus Christ.

Am I abiding in Jesus?
As we remain in Christ through His Word, prayer, trust, and obedience, His life flows through us and produces fruit that brings glory to the Father.
