The Panthers open up the 2026 NFL Season in the Hall of Fame Game against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday. Before we get too far into the pre-season, let's take a quick look back at the offseason. What were the top, and most interesting, free agent signings. How well did Dan Morgan execute the NFL Draft? And how has training camp gone so far? But most importantly - what my opinion on it all? Plus, what does the season hold in store for this team? Repeat playoff appearance? Domination of the NFC South? I'm no expert, but in my opinion...

It's a late post, but that's what happens when you're getting back into things and trying a new platform. My take on what the Panthers should do going into the 2026 NFL draft. Free Agency set them up to be able to actually take the Best Player Available, but who will that be for them? I know I've got my opinions...

The Carolina Panthers are poised to open the 2025 season and take on the Jacksonville Jaguars September 7th! But first, a look back at an off-season that saw Dan Morgan and company rebuild a historically bad defense through free agency and the draft while still making moves to improve the offense. Was it enough though and will the Panthers finally rise from the cellar of the NFC South?

Recapping the Carolina Panthers' preseason kickoff against the Cleveland Browns at Bank of America Stadium. The 1st team offense showed what they needed to in their first game back, but how about the defense? Carolina had opportunities against the Browns, but didn't capitalize when they needed to. Is it time to panic already? Are we heading down the familiar road of disappointment? Listen in to find out my opinion. UNC did what they were supposed to do, at home, against UNC-Charlotte. The defense was aggressive, if undisciplined. The offense rotated almost all their players and put up enough points to keep the game out of reach for the 49ers.

The Panthers on the other hand, had what most long-time fans would consider the single worse half of Panthers' football - ever. The defense allowed 7 scores on the first 7 drives, the offense didn't get on the board until a FG went through the uprights as time expired going into halftime. So, in reaction, I took to PFF's Mock Draft Simulator, fresh with summer scouted prospects and set to put the Panthers back together in a 3RD, way too early, overreaction mock draft. Then I broke down what a calmer me thinks about the state of this team and where we go from here (only up right?).

After OTAs, Rookie Training Camp, Pre-season Training Camp, and a less-than-thrilling pre-season game against the New England Patriots, it's safe to say that the newest build of the Carolina Panthers is going to take awhile - and that's ok! It looks like Dan Morgan and staff are going to methodically, and purposefully, build a contender. How? Listen on to find out my opinion.

The 2024 Draft is over and the Panthers have seven new players to welcome. It took a number of moves, both up and down the board to secure "their guys," but the staff feel good about the incoming class. But do i?

Last minute episode with my opinions of the Panthers' draft opportunities. No first round pick, and multiple day two picks with plenty of needs across the roster makes this one of Carolina's most interesting drafts. Wide receiver (mercifully) seems to be stacked with day two/WR2 talent, just pick your flavor, while other needs are a little more acute - OC, EDGE, LB. Plus, who are "my guys" for each of the major positions of need?
