What if some houses aren't haunted because something terrible happened there—but because the people who loved them never wanted to leave?

Terri and Andrew record on location inside Freeport, Illinois's historic Taylor House, where Terri shares her own unexplained experiences along with strange stories from former museum staff: clocks that shouldn't work, footsteps with no footprints, unexplained scents, rattling doors, and a memorable paranormal investigation in the basement.

Then they venture beyond Bohemiana to two more Midwestern haunted houses: the infamous Sallie House in Atchison, Kansas, where the experiences may be better documented than the ghost's supposed identity, and Tinker Swiss Cottage in Rockford, Illinois, where visitors have reported mysterious women, disembodied voices, moving objects, and other unexpected guests.

Some houses hold history. Some hold memories. And some, perhaps, hold onto the people who once called them home.
