    Dimension X presents “Dr Grimshaw’s Sanatorium,” episode 25, originally broadcast on NBC on September 22, 1950. Adapted by George Lefferts from a short story by Fletcher Pratt, the drama stars Karl Weber as private detective John Doherty.

    After a disturbing discovery at a cemetery points toward Dr. Grimshaw’s exclusive institution outside Gowanda, New York, Doherty goes undercover as a patient to investigate. Missing patients, secretive staff, and forbidden areas make the sanatorium a dangerous place to seek the truth. Edward King directed this sustaining-period broadcast.
