    Our Miss Brooks, “The First Aid Course” (episode 134), originally broadcast June 3, 1951. In this surviving AFRS rebroadcast of the CBS episode, Eve Arden stars as Madison High English teacher Connie Brooks, alongside Jeff Chandler and Gale Gordon.

    When Miss Brooks is pressed into taking over the school’s first-aid course, she first has to demonstrate her own emergency skills. Written by Al Lewis and produced by Larry Berns, this schoolroom comedy finds Connie facing another challenging assignment at Madison High.

    Conklin’s birthday has him determined to appear younger than his years, while Madison High’s celebrated “new” school bus proves to have a decidedly awkward past as a former police paddy wagon. Jeff Chandler, Richard Crenna, Jane Morgan, and Gloria McMillan co-star.
