At some point, you realize you have rules about food that nobody ever taught you.

There's stuff you'll eat, stuff you won't touch, a certain order you'll make the first time you try a restaurant — and apparently, an entire game plan for walking into a buffet.

This week, Dub, Luck, Dame and McFadden get into the food rules we've picked up along the way. A bad gas-station burger starts it, then comes the first-time restaurant test: whether buffets still have a place in our lives, guarding the table, waiting for the fresh pan, people-watching, and the proper strategy once that first plate hits the table.

Somewhere along the way, we also have to settle a neighbor's two feet of uncut grass and learn that getting older apparently comes with dentist rules too.

Fantasy football hits a little different when you've been playing with some of the same guys for more than 20 years.

The rules change. The league changes. The NFL changes. The guys? Not nearly as much.

This week it's Dub and Luck at the table, and fantasy football gets us started. We get into what has kept our 12-man BYFL together for 21 seasons, the stuff commissioners deal with that nobody really talks about, changing rules without screwing up your league, keeping owners involved, and why we're still looking forward to another season after all these years.

And like most conversations between friends, we don't stay there.

Ben Math is coming back to the golf course. Dame still has unfinished business from 150 yards. McFadden is apparently shopping for the Porsche of wheelchairs. Capt Cuz gets us thinking about fishing again. And somehow we end up talking about billionaires, stocks, money management, and Dub trying to day trade while his doctor is waiting on him.

That's pretty much how these conversations go.
