It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' moves at the NHL Trade Deadline, previewed Friday's game against Carolina, line combinations, trade targets, and more.

We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about why the Oilers just cannot seem to win a third game in a row. Despite having 12 opportunities to do so, the team has only won three times in a row once all season. While there's no specific explanation for the stat, Baggedmilk asked the boys to try to figure things out and put their finger on the problem anyway.

The Oilers announced this morning that the star forward would miss the remainder of the regular season with a lower-body injury. Changing gears, the guys discussed Connor Ingram being named the Oilers' starting goaltender and how surprising it was that Kris Knoblauch admitted what we were all thinking. Either way, what's clear is that the team and coaching staff believe Ingram gives the chance the best chance to win right now, and it's going to take a lot of work for Jarry to rebuild that trust. Will it be the right decision? Only time will tell.
