The second is another walk back style method, but in it youare starting on the nearest shooting peg for the target and shooting 2 arrows before moving back. Hence the name 2 for 1, 2 arrows for or rather from 1 peg .Have a listen and let me know what you think. If you have any questions or queries you can drop me an email on or via the website.

For the past few months, I have been trying out five different shooting gloves. Identifying the materials, comfort, fit on the hand and overall quality. I'm often asked what gloves work best and the goal was it identify ones that are inexpensive and might be good for beginners. It's not about whether a glove is better than a shooting tab, it's about which of the five gloves work better than others. They are all under £15 current (October 2026)There are 2 fabric gloves and 3 leather ones. The testing involved shooting them with a beginners recurve of 18lb draw weight, a 30lb White feather Sheerwater flatbow and my competition Blackbrook TDR 48lb recurve. The ones tested are listed below and the prices are shown based on Merlin Archery Website https://www.merlinarchery.co.uk/acces... • Bear Paw Mesh Glove £6.89• Grizzly Jim Signature Series All Weather Glove £9.89• Buck trail £9.89• Grizzly Jim Signature Series Deer Leather Glove £9.89• Grizzly Jim Signature Series Kangaroo Leather Glove £14.99Please note I am not sponsored by any retailer and the gloves were purchased by me (except for the deer skin which was a gift) for this test.If you have any questions or queries you can drop me an email on 0ffthearrowshelf@yahoo.co.uk or via the websiteoffthearrowshelf.com Most of all remember to enjoy your shooting and as always thanks for listening, watching and supporting.#barebow #bow #bows #arrows #fieldarchery #archerycoaching #archery #srt #archerypodcast #coachingtip #archerylife #archer #bowsandarrow #tradarchery #traditionalarchery #bowandarrow #bow #arrow #archeryfamily #recurve #flatbow #recurve #3Darchery #shootingplace #nfas
