  • Episode 5 | Who left US in charge?!
    2026/10/16

Remember when you thought adults knew what they were doing? Yeah. About that.

In episode five of Off The Shot List, we somehow weave wedding photography, parenting, homeschooling, and rock climbing into one very familiar realization: we’ve become the adults in the room, and we’re still Googling absolutely everything.

We talk about the things we’ve figured out along the way, the things we’re still winging, and the slightly unsettling realization that our parents were probably doing the same. From raising kids to running a business, when does experience turn into confidence—and does anyone ever actually feel like they’ve got this?

Plus, Questions From the Group Chat takes us down a whole different rabbit hole: our worst food and beverage experiences. You might want to finish your tacos first.

Weddings brought us here. Life gave us the rest of the story.

  • Episode 4 | HEY! I'M WALKIN HERE!
    2026/10/02

New York gave us a lot to talk about: tourist moments, a Sikh ceremony, and Amy and Amandeep’s two-day wedding in Jersey City. We’re sharing the stories behind the trip and a reminder that’s been on our minds ever since: making beautiful photos is the bare minimum. The way people feel while we’re making them matters just as much.

We talk about what going above and beyond looks like to us, from paying attention to the people in front of our cameras to making space for them to relax and enjoy their wedding. Then a tough Question from the Group Chat takes us somewhere more personal: the biggest lessons we’ve learned in life. We both opened up more than we expected.

Can you catch us working through challenges on the fly mid episode? 🤣☠️ What can we say?! We’re photographers first and podcasters…..third? 🫠

Come for the New York stories. Join in with the chaos and laughs. Stay for the conversation we didn’t quite see coming.

  • Episode 3 | For Better, For Worse & For Business Hours
    2026/09/18

Marriage is already a team sport. Now add shared clients, creative opinions, overflowing inboxes, unpredictable wedding days, and the fact that your coworker also knows exactly how annoying you are at home.

In this episode, we’re talking about what it’s really like to build a photography business with your spouse. We get into how our very different brains somehow make us stronger, where those differences create absolute chaos, how we divide responsibilities, navigate disagreements, and attempt to separate work from the rest of our life together.

After more than a decade of marriage and business ownership, we’ve learned that working together can be deeply rewarding, occasionally ridiculous, and definitely not for everyone.

Is it romantic? Unhinged? A questionable marital decision?

    Honestly…yes.

    2026/09/03

If you’re currently planning a wedding and have found yourself spiraling over the timeline, the weather, your Pinterest board, or whether you’re supposed to do something because apparently weddings have rules…this one’s for you.

After more than a decade of photographing weddings, we’ve watched a LOT of things not go according to plan. Rain happens. Timelines run late. Pinterest lies. Traditions get skipped.

And you know what? People still get married. The party still happens. And some of the best moments come from the stuff nobody planned in the first place.

So we're talking about the things couples put an enormous amount of pressure on themselves to get “right,” what actually matters once the wedding day arrives, and why we're officially giving you permission to do whatever the hell you want with your own wedding.

Turns out, the things that make a wedding meaningful are rarely the things you can control perfectly.

  • Episode 1 | Are We Recording?
    2026/09/03

Well…we bought microphones. So we should probably explain ourselves.

In the very first episode of Off the Shot List, we’re talking about how the hell we ended up here—from building a photography business and working together as a married couple to raising kids, homeschooling, traveling, rock climbing, and somehow deciding the obvious next step was starting a podcast.

We talk about how photography became our shared career, the weird little life we’ve built along the way, why we wanted a place to talk about more than weddings, and what exactly Off the Shot List means to us.

Mostly, though, this is your introduction to us outside of the polished photographs and Instagram squares.

Welcome to Off the Shot List. We have absolutely no idea where this is going, and that's kind of the point.
