  • Episode 14 - Annex B-roll, Brake Lights, and Bad Timing
    2026/04/21

This week had a little bit of everything.

We spent most of our time working on visuals for Annex B. Late nights, parking garage shots, and racing the weather to pull everything off. Somewhere in the middle of all that, we took our cat on an office field trip, Liv “accidentally” walked a half marathon, and we had some unexpectedly deep conversations with family that stuck with us.

Also… Liv’s car broke. Or maybe it didn’t? We’re still not entirely sure. What started as a “simple fix” quickly turned into a glowing dashboard and a lot of second-guessing.

Throw in a rainy shoot, some emotional moments, and a strong opinion or two about reality TV, and you’ve got this week’s episode.

    2026/04/14

“This week, we reflect on a meaningful Sunday church service and discuss how we’re trying to bring more structure, like prayer, Sabbath, and community, into our daily lives. We share our journey finding a church home and building friendships as young married couples, and Atlas talks business with my dad, which leads into a conversation about our own financial goals as a couple.

We also chat about the media we’ve been enjoying. From Breaking Bad and Love Is Blind to Project Hail Mary and Narnia and how it’s inspiring our creative projects. We wrap up by catching up with friends we haven’t seen in a while, all while our cats keep reminding us that interruptions are part of life.

  • Episode 12 - Before We Have Kids
    2026/04/07

Somewhere between Lewisville and Midland, on the way to celebrate Atlas’ birthday and shoot content for Annex B at the Monahans dunes, the conversation unfolds into a deep dive on kids, parenting, and the direction society seems to be heading.

We talk honestly about our own childhoods, what worked, what didn’t, and the patterns we’ve carried with us into adulthood. That leads into a bigger conversation about what we’re seeing now in Gen A: shorter attention spans, constant stimulation, and a noticeable struggle with self-soothing in a world dominated by screens. We unpack the idea of “brain rot,” not just in younger generations, but in ourselves, and how easy it is to become dependent on distraction.

From there, we shift into the future. What we’d want to do differently, what values matter most to us, and how we hope to raise grounded, present, and emotionally aware kids in a culture that often pulls in the opposite direction. It’s thoughtful, honest, and a little all over the place in the best way.

  • Episode 11 - Six Flags Let Us Down… but Conan Gray Didn’t
    2026/03/31

This week’s episode is a bit of a rollercoaster. Olivia kicks things off while feeling under the weather and recaps our disappointing trip to Six Flags Over Texas, where limited rides and long waits made even Flash Passes feel pointless.

We also talk about some creative changes behind the scenes and why we’re putting Atlas Drums on pause for now to focus on other projects.

Next, we dive into our Enneagram types and what they reveal about our compatibility. Atlas also shares stories from his time on set working with Paramount on a project connected to the Yellowstone universe.

Later, we talk about scoring last-second tickets to see Conan Gray on the Wishbone Tour dressed as Steve and Robin from Stranger Things.

We wrap things up with Olivia’s outing with the Murtha Girls to the Fort Worth Stockyards, thoughts on the new movie Hoppers, and starting the Breaking Bad series.

  • Episode 10 - Take Five, TØP & Tiny Triumphs
    2026/03/24

This week we worked on our movie outline and got excited about the story taking shape. Atlas headed to a Paramount promo shoot for Lioness and ran into a familiar face, while I caught up with an old friend and treated my grandma to lunch and a mani-pedi.

We connected with family, adjusted our daily routines, and reflected on how different perspectives shape the way we work and live together. We also filmed five episodes of our Take Five drum cover series and watched the Twenty One Pilots documentary “More Than We Ever Imagined” twice.

This episode is all about tiny wins, creative chaos, and the everyday moments that make life actually fun when you’re doing it together.

    2026/03/17

This week we’re catching up on everything from Super Bowl parties and birthday celebrations to discovering what might be the best ice cream we’ve ever had in Waxahachie. We talk about our current era of going to the movies almost weekly thanks to our Cinemark membership (and why The Moment didn’t quite live up to expectations). We also recap filming a music video with our friends in MKN Coffee, balancing creative projects with work and marriage, and Olivia’s showroom grand opening. Plus, we share how we spent our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple at Eataly in Dallas and the very “us” gifts we got each other.

  • Episode 8 - The Creative Evolution of Atlas
    2026/03/10

In this episode, we walk through the full creative journey of Atlas . From the first short films he made in middle school to the music he’s creating today with Annex B.

We talk about the early filmmaking experiments like Ransom Space Wars and Fine and I’ll Stay, how Atlas started a freelance videography business at just 16 years old, and the moment he began composing his own scores. The conversation continues through his gap year and the creation of his first feature-length film Black Box, his autobiographical book Sunglasses, and his years posting drum covers on his YouTube channel, Atlas Drums.

We also dive into his collegiate film projects at the University of North Texas, what it was like stepping onto professional sets including work with Paramount Pictures, and how music eventually became a major creative outlet.

If you’ve ever wondered how a creative career actually unfolds. The experiments, risks, and projects that shape it. This episode breaks down the full story.

  • Episode 7 - Building a Marriage & A Movie
    2026/03/03

This week we’re talking about what security actually unlocks.

We spent our first weekend apart since getting married (turns out… we really like each other), and it led us into a deeper conversation about honesty, jealousy, and what it looks like to create a safe relationship. Olivia shares a vulnerable moment about processing old feelings from a past relationship and why withholding jealousy and choosing grace instead changes everything.

We also talk about what we’re building creatively right now: breakthroughs in our movie outline, renaming Atlas’ album, and how feeling secure at home gives you the freedom to take bigger risks in your art.

Safe love. Big ideas. And a walking pad that might’ve changed Olivia’s life.
