Boston College Eagles’ offense relies on Mason McKenzie’s heroics—but is this sustainable, or an impending disaster? McKenzie racks up 138 rushing yards and two touchdowns, but alarming stats in the passing game and a stagnant run attack from Evan Dickens and Bo MacCormack raise concerns about offensive depth and durability. With the offensive line near the bottom of the ACC in run blocking, defenses are selling out to stop the ground game, leaving the Eagles searching for answers beyond McKenzie.

AJ Black and Mike Sidley break down the defense’s resurgence under Ted Roof, spotlighting Max Tucker’s inspiring return and pass defense improvements. Yet, the fourth quarter collapse—highlighted by Jeffrey Overton’s 76-yard touchdown run—exposes lingering issues in run defense and depth due to key injuries. Can Boston College shore up its weaknesses before facing SMU and Pittsburgh, or will these cracks define their season? Hear insights on Jaedn Skeete’s emergence and the urgent fixes needed for a turnaround.
