In this encouraging episode, we explore what it means to practice buoyancy: Life comes in waves—some gentle, some overwhelming, and some that seem determined to pull us under.

Staying afloat through kindness, grace, encouragement, healthy boundaries, and trust in God.

Through relatable stories of stressful mornings, , surfing lessons, and the trap of comparison, you’ll be reminded that you do not have to fight every wave alone. Your response can become a surfboard; a small word of kindness can become a ripple that changes someone’s entire day.

Rooted in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, Joshua 1:9, and Romans 15:5, this episode offers a gentle invitation to encourage others, give yourself grace, release comparison, and remember that God is with you in every kind of water.

This week, be the buoy. Be the ripple-starter. And when the waves rise, remember you are held, you are loved, and by God’s grace, you can ride the next wave.

Grace — The Gift We Receive and the Gift We Give

Grace is something we all need—especially on the days when we fall short, lose our patience, make mistakes, or feel like we simply aren't enough. In this episode of Now Is Your Yes, we explore the incredible gift of God's grace and what it means to extend that same grace to ourselves and others.

Because grace isn't just something we receive. It's something we are called to give.

So take a deep breath, release yesterday, and remember: you are still growing, still becoming, and God's grace is greater than your mistakes.

Your purpose isn't someday. It's now. Your yes is now.

    6 Ways in 6 Days

So, if you’re wondering — “How do I live this out? How can Iactually practice grace in a busy, sometimes frustrating world?” — here are six ways to begin.

Each one is small, simple, but deeply powerful when donewith intention.

Day 1. Begin your mornings slowly — with gratitudeinstead of guilt.
Before you reach for your phone, whisper thanks for new mercies. Breathe. Say, “God,thank You for grace that covers even what yesterday lacked.”

Day 2. Speak gently to others — and yourself.
Grace often sounds like tone. It’s the difference between snapping andsoothing, between pressure and patience. Choose kindness in voice and volume.

Day 3. Offer others more benefit of the doubt.
When someone disappoints you or says the wrong thing, pause and ask, “Whatmight they be struggling with?” Grace assumes there’s always more to thestory.

Day 4. Make forgiveness a daily discipline.
Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting the pain — it means refusing to let thewound run the show. Let one grudge go this week. Just one.

    Day 5. Rest without guilt.
Sometimes grace looks like a nap. Permission to stop performing and rememberthat your worth was never earned through exhaustion.

Day 6. Scatter grace generously — especially when it’sleast deserved.
Write that encouraging text. Smile at the stranger. Complement the person youusually overlook. Grace doesn’t wait for worthiness; it creates it.

In this episode, I’m inviting you into a quiet, honest conversation about what it means to truly know yourself in the presence of God. We talk about the values that shape us, the emotions we carry, the truths we may be avoiding, and the beautiful way God meets us right where we are. My hope is that this episode encourages you to slow down, breathe, and let God gently reveal more of who you are and who He is calling you to become.
