What does it mean to say 'Jesus is King’? He's a very strange sort of king indeed. Jesus flips the script and redefines our concept of power as he announces an upside-down Kingdom belonging to the weak, the marginalized, and the outcast.

We live in a world that constantly pushes us to do more, achieve more, and prove our worth.

But life with God is not about performance — it’s about presence. This is the life we were made for: To abide in and enjoy God’s presence. To know and be known by God. To love and be loved by Him. To walk daily with Jesus in the midst of our actual life.

So the invitation is to step off the exhausting treadmill of trying to prove ourselves and learn to rest in the love and grace of God.

As a church, our mission is simple: we invite people to enjoy life with God. In this series, through our study of the Gospel of John, we’ll explore how to live this out day by day.

Grow in your awareness of God’s presence. Find freedom, rest, and joy in Christ’s unfailing love. And extend to others an invitation into the gracious, welcoming presence of God.
