HELLO??? IS THIS THING ON?!

After a five month hiatus, Not From Here is BACK and we have some explaining to do...

In this episode, we’re catching you up on everything we’ve been up to this summer - from working, auditioning, and wedding planning to surviving what felt like the rainiest summer ever.

Then, we’re turning the page and entering our "grind fall" era which entails getting serious about our routines, refocusing on our careers, and finally putting some of the goals we’ve been talking about into action.

After five months away, it feels SO good to be back behind the mic. Thanks for waiting for us - we’re so excited! <3

This week, Riley and Isa are back with a one-on-one catch-up episode! After a run of inspiring guest interviews, the girls take some time to reflect on everything that’s been happening in their lives over the past few months.

From Isa starting a new job to Riley receiving a promotion, they get candid about the reality of balancing survival jobs while pursuing careers as performers. They open up about the importance of protecting your mental health, finding balance in an unpredictable industry, and navigating the pressures that come with your twenties. Riley also shares her experience with managing grief during a difficult time of year.

Along the way, the conversation takes plenty of fun detours, from Spirit Airlines drama and recent travel stories to a quick Summer House update. Tune in for an honest, heartfelt, and entertaining episode!

This week Riley & Isa sit down with Janae Hammond, an artist originally from Missouri, who is currently starring as Rose Granger-Weasley on Broadway in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child!

Janae opens up about her journey, from growing up in Missouri and studying at Missouri State University, to fully committing to a career in the performing arts. Along the way, Janae brings warmth, honesty, and humor to the episode, recounting memorable (and often hilarious) moments from her life in New York City.

She also takes us behind the scenes of making her Broadway debut, sharing the full-circle experience of joining Cursed Child: from her initial audition to stepping into the show as a swing, and eventually taking on a leading role.

It’s an episode full of vulnerability, inspiration, and a little bit of manifestation magic, where dreams meet reality.
