FEATURED RESULTS

Northwestern 34-13 Penn State — Nightmare scenario. 413 rushing yards to 48. Wing-T. Chip Kelly and David Braun were 10 steps ahead. Caleb Komolafe. No energy on the Penn State sideline. Matt Campbell honeymoon is over. Whiteout vs USC next.

Missouri 45-17 Florida — Complete shocker. Gators could not block the front four. Austin Simmons. Poll problem: Missouri just lost to Mississippi State, who just lost to Alabama.

Alabama 56-23 Mississippi State — Most impressive team. Kalen DeBoer is 16-5 in ranked games. Seven red-zone touchdowns. Four turnovers. Fluff Bothwell held under 20 rushing yards. Pick-six. Tide are running the ball again. Keelon Russell getting better. Georgia next in Tuscaloosa.

Ohio State 31-14 Iowa — Erich’s upset dies. Jeremiah Smith 11 catches, 206 yards, 2 TDs. Career records at Ohio State. Hank Brown fumble on the first drive. Never a full roar in Kinnick. Best team in the Big Ten right now.

Minnesota 20-14 Michigan — Kevin’s letdown. Defense traveled and scored. Offense did not. Bryce Underwood could not build on Iowa. Kevin’s prediction: Whittingham is a one-year rental.

Pitt 35-33 Virginia Tech — Narduzzi gets Franklin. Ethan Grunkemeyer 434 and 4 TDs. Mason Heintschel out for the season. Missed kick at the end.

Miami 41-13 Clemson — 16.5 was not enough. Too physical in Death Valley.
