  • A Mom’s Six-Month Shift From Keto Burnout To Real Strength Client Interview | Liz King
    2026/07/18

She wanted to be the kind of mom who can jump on the trampoline, run with her kids, and feel strong doing it and instead she was exhausted in minutes. Liz King joins me to share what happened when she finally decided to stop guessing, stop under-eating, and build real strength from the ground up, even as a busy homeschooling mom who had never stepped into a gym until age 35.

We talk about the messy middle: coming off keto, fearing carbs, and realizing that restriction was hurting her energy and mental health. Liz opens up about how food tracking felt overwhelming at first, why adding carbohydrates changed her workouts, and how consistent nutrition habits like meal prep supported fat loss and body recomposition without the burnout. If you have ever wondered whether you are under-fueling your training, her experience will hit home.

The biggest takeaway is not just physical progress, it is the mindset shift. Liz shares a turning point when she texted that she was quitting and we got on a quick Zoom instead. That moment became proof that accountability and belief can rewrite a lifelong pattern of starting strong and stopping early. By finishing the full program, she earned something deeper than a number on the scale: confidence, follow-through, and a new relationship with her body.

If you want more stories like this and practical coaching insights on strength training, nutrition tracking, and sustainable habits, subscribe, share this episode with a friend, and leave a review. What is the one habit you know would change everything if you stayed consistent with it?

  • 052: From Decision to Discipline: How I Prepared for My First Fitness Competition (And What It Taught Me About Leadership)
    2026/03/19

Most women think they need more motivation, more time, or the perfect plan to finally follow through on their goals.

But what happens when you’ve already been consistent…
and the goal still gets pushed back?

In this episode, I’m taking you inside my 10-month journey preparing for my first fitness competition and I’ll be honest, this had very little to do with stepping on stage.

    This was about leadership.

I’m sharing what it actually looked like to make a decision before I felt ready, build discipline through systems instead of motivation, and continue showing up even when timelines changed, plans fell through, and things didn’t go as expected.

Because that’s where most women fall off.

And it’s also where leaders are built.

    I walk you through:

    • What it really means to operate at a higher standard (without perfection)
    • How I relied on systems and rhythms instead of starting from scratch
    • The mental lows, sacrifices, and moments I wanted to quit
    • What changed when my competition timeline got pushed back more than once
    • The difference between being committed to a goal vs. committed to a standard
    • How this process reshaped my confidence, leadership, and identity

This episode is for the high-performing woman who is tired of starting over, tired of negotiating with herself, and ready to follow through at a higher level.

Because you don’t need another plan.

You need to decide who you are and build from there.

If you’re ready for structure, standards, and support, DM me “COACHING” on Instagram and let’s talk.
