What does it take to produce a world class golfer and is Scottish golf still doing enough to develop it's next generation. This week i was joined by legendary Scottish Golf Coach, Ian Rae. With almost 50 years in the game, Ian takes us on a journey from his home town in Huntly to winning the world Amateur championship with Scotland. A brilliant conversation with one of Scottish golf's most influential coaching figures.

The mastermind behind Danish Golf, we take a deep dive into the rise of Danish golf with the incredible Andreas Kali. He has taken 13 year old juniors to the DP World Tour and PGA Tour and WOW... what we can learn as a nation of similar climate and population and it's not funding or facilities....

Part 2 of my interview with Barry Hume, we dive into his career as a Professional and everything that went with that roller-coaster ride. The talent and ability was never in doubt, but why did he not emulate his startling amateur career and continue this into the Pro ranks...

Wow, what a career, a very thoughtful gentleman and a golfing genius!

As a young Junior golfer, I looked up to Barry as THEE Player in our county and country that every young kid wanted to be. Winning national titles by 13 shots, winning 72-hole events by 10 shot margins, course records and much more - I had the pleasure of sitting with Barry and reminiscing about his early amateur days at Haggs Castle Golf Club, the influence of Jim McAllister, Head Pro, his partnership with Marc Warren and the drive to be the best player in the world!

1 hour and we have only just started, enjoy Part 1 with Barry Hume, one of Scotland's greatest ever amateur golfers.

I sat down with 2 x time European Tour Winner, Alastair Forsyth. "Big Al", a gentleman and a Scottish golf legend, one of the most consistent players we had on the European Tour for 15 + years. He talks of his rise from the Junior section at Ralston G.C., onto Tour, the impact he is having as a coach and also now in his "rookie" year on the Legends Tour! A great insight into the life of Big Al and also gives his opinion on the future of Scottish golf.

WOW... i could speak with Will Kelly all day. What an incredible individual, who after only 2 x conversations, i can't wait to get onto the golf course to put into practice the new drills and techniques i have learned to improve my golf mentality. Want to play better under pressure, feel and think more confident, then this episode is perfect for you. Enjoy!

In this episode, i sit down with Ex-European Tour Player, Callum Macaulay to discuss Scottish Golf, Parents in Golf, Social media impact on our kids and also whether we should be trying to eumulate Denmark in their recent rise within the golfing world.

A packed solo NoGimmies solo episode as i round up Scott Jamieson's win on home soil ending a 14-year drought. Celebrate the successful week for Scottish Golf, we are very quick to put down our game (myself included), it is time we change our attitude and celebrate our success, inspire the future and look toward the future planning from Scottish Golf.
