After a few months away from the microphone, I’m back—but not quite where I left off.
This episode is less of a summer recap and more of a reintroduction. Life has shifted, new ideas have found me, old ideas are being stretched, and I’m discovering that sometimes the most meaningful seasons of becoming happen when we stop trying so hard to produce something from them.
I’m sharing a little of where I find myself now and opening the door to what we’ll be exploring in the episodes ahead: process thought and a God who may be much more participatory than we imagine, motherhood and changing seasons, my return to school, the movement of The Living Gospel of Magdalene toward publication, and the questions about remembrance, possibility, and becoming that are reshaping the way I see almost everything.
I don’t know exactly where these conversations will take us—or even whether they’ll arrive neatly every week. That feels strangely appropriate.
Because this season isn’t about presenting what I’ve figured out. It’s about sharing what I’m encountering.
