This week, we are covering all the news and pop culture headlines! As always, they recap the latest goings on with Danielle's boys have had a ton of field trips so busy busy busy and shares her newest Christmas tradition with Ghost Face At My Place (no Elf on the Shelf here), while Dami has been busy, maybe too busy, to create her DIY costumes and prepping for Paris and Munich.

In the latest "What The Fuck Trump News," we break down the shocking footage of a woman protestor being repeatedly punched at a Trump rally by a male attendee while Trump watches and laughs. We chat about the wild clips of the new press secretary and her surprising background passing the bar in China (spoiler alert, she's already been fired). We share the alarming stats behind the 147 lawmakers across 44 states accused of SA, harassment or misconduct since 2017.

In "What We Choose," we unpack Shane Gillis's controversial gym comments which leads into the heavy reality of how safe women actually feel walking to the train or taking Ubers home. We then dive deep into the viral Kelly Clarkson Brooklyn Art of Play store bird drama—including the security footage breakdown and the shock that the shop owner is actually the author of the children's book Dragons Love Tacos.

Finally, in "What We Watched," Danielle shares The Goonies with her boys, covers the latest DWTS highlights featuring Carrie Ann, Henry, and Val, Mike Flanagan’s epic take on Carrie, War with Sienna Miller, and Below with the ridiculously hot Josh Hartnett. Dami gives us the rundown on Ted Lasso, the baffling Traitors New Blood fruitgate and a dutch oven coffin, and the heartwarming Sheep Detective movie. Since we last recorded two weeks ago, it's been quite a ride catching up on life and trips! Danielle kicked things off with post-travel blues after exploring Boston and Salem (giving the full rundown), while Dami has been living her best life experiencing incredible food, shopping, and beauty products in Brazil and heading out on an awesome camping trip.

When it came to pop culture and news updates, we dove into Trump asking Iran to “take out San Diego and LA" (can someone say treason?!). We also get into everything from the latest on the Cornell 7 and standing with Jane Doe, as well as chatting about the death of Gypsy Rose's ex fiance.

In What We Watched, Danielle transformed movie nights with projector viewings of Up and Hocus Pocus, as well as the latest on DWTS, the first three episodes of American Horror 13, The Love Hypothesis on Amazon, late 90s throwbacks like Simply Irresistible and Down to You, and checking out The Invite on a plane home. Meanwhile, Dami kept her streaming queue stacked with Ted Lasso, Dark Matter, and Widows Bay on Apple TV, Disney's Lanterns, Last Week Tonight on HBO, Parenthood on her flight, and the new season of Traitors. Come hang out with us while we catch up on all the things.

In our latest podcast episode, we kicked things off by catching up on our recent lives, noting that both of us ended up visiting Apple Hill. Dami sets up Halloween decorations, which urges them to share what their families are going to be for Halloween.

In the news, we covered Zohran Mamdani suing the Trump administration over a new immigration rule, as well as Donald Trump brushing off the concept of an AI apocalypse as a hoax—which we naturally interpreted as a sign that things might actually be far worse than acknowledged. We also touched on the latest updates surrounding health insurance cuts and rising costs, followed by a quick breakdown of recent news involving JD Vance.

In our "What We Choose" segment, we unpacked the controversial Sydney Sweeney Novig sports ad and the strong pushback it received from prominent female athletes. We then turned our attention to politics with Mitch McConnell's soft return, noting how he nearly sided with Democrats on the farm bill and highlighting that he had 92 days of paid leave. To wrap up the segment, we discussed Nikki Phillippi's decision to change her mind about adopting a child after discovering she wouldn't be allowed to feature them online during their first year.

Finally, we shared our recent viewing lists. Danielle has been having projector movie nights with her boys, playing all the classics: Hook, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Frankenweenie, How to Train Your Dragon, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, all while keeping up with the Dancing with the Stars season two night kick-off. Meanwhile, Dami spent her screen time catching up on Apple TV+'s Ted Lasso and Dark Matter, along with Last Sunrise, DC's Lanterns, and comfort watching with Ina Garten: Back to Basics. What are you waiting for? Come hang with us!
