Love is getting complicated this week, and the stars can't hide it. Venus is retrograde in Scorpio, she squares Mars in Leo on October 10, and on the very same day we get the New Moon in Libra. Add the Sun in Libra sextile lucky Jupiter, and it's a week of mixed signals, second chances and a real invitation to balance the old and the new, in love and in money.

In this episode

• Why Venus retrograde in Scorpio is love at its most intense, and why old feelings, old flames and old money matters are coming back
• Venus retrograde and self-worth: what are you really worth, and how have you done since the last Venus retrograde 18 months ago?
• Venus square Mars in Leo on October 10: desire, pride, and why nobody wants to be the first to back down
• The Sun in Libra sextile Jupiter in Leo, the best news of the week
• The New Moon in Libra at 17 degrees: times, keywords and why some of your wishes might involve going back
• Manifesting: are you living in line with what you say you want to manifest?
• Your questions: what not to do under Venus retrograde, which signs are feeling it most, and the benefits of this rare cycle

Key takeaways

• Before you get into an argument, ask yourself: is this about what happened, or about how it made me feel?
• Make your New Moon wishes right after the New Moon: LA 8:50am October 10, New York 11:50am October 10, London 4:50pm October 10, Sydney 2:50am October 11.
• Avoid massive appearance changes and luxury splurges under Venus retrograde. Going back to the hairdresser who did a great job is fine.
• Don't go back to an ex just because you're lonely. Go back if something has genuinely changed.
• Use this rare cycle for a self-worth audit and a money review.
