John Goodwin has spent a career telling stories—although getting there wasn't exactly part of a master plan.

Now a producer with CBS News Sunday Morning, John’s path through television news has taken him through a remarkable range of jobs, assignments, and experiences. Along the way, he learned the business from the ground up, working with some extraordinary people and developing the skills—and instincts—that eventually took him to one of the most respected programs in network television.

John sits down with Bryan and Larry to talk about how he got into the business, the people and opportunities that shaped his career, memorable assignments along the way, and what goes into finding and telling a great story.
