Meredith Kent from Skin CoLab is back on Navigating Between the Lines, and we cover everything from Botox, peptides and skincare trends to social media, raising teenagers, confidence, getting older and learning who to trust when everyone online has an opinion.

Along the way, we talk about what actually works, what isn't worth your money, skincare for kids, laser treatments, why influencers aren't always the best source of advice, and why aging might not be something to fear after all.

If you've ever found yourself wondering what really matters when it comes to taking care of yourself, this conversation is for you.

In this episode, we talk about:
    • Botox, peptides and today's biggest skincare trends
    • What actually makes the biggest difference as we age
    • Why trusting the right experts matters
    • Kids, skincare and the Sephora generation
    • The influence of social media on beauty and wellness
    • Confidence, getting older and embracing a simpler life
    • Podcasting, motherhood and a few unexpected detours along the way

  • 41 Years, 120 Miles & My Dad
    2026/06/18

For Father's Day, I'm sharing a story that's been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

My dad has raced the AuSable River Canoe Marathon for 41 years. I've raced it twice.. both times with him.

While this episode takes you inside one of the toughest endurance events you've probably never heard of, this story isn't really about canoe racing.

It's about fathers and daughters, family traditions, grief, perspective, and the memories we don't realize we're making while we're living them.

From running the Mio Dam portage as a kid, to racing alongside my dad after losing my mom, I'm reflecting on the people who shape us, the traditions that raise us, and how our perspective changes with time.

As a bonus coincidence, this is Episode 41 of Navigating Between the Lines.. and this summer marks my dad's 41st start in the AuSable River Canoe Marathon.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, father figures, and families celebrating this weekend.

  • The Pressure to Optimize Everything (Especially Your Health)
    2026/06/11

    Send us Fan Mail

How did taking care of ourselves become so complicated?

One minute we're talking about sleep. The next we're comparing magnesium supplements, cortisol levels, protein intake, fasting schedules, blood work, weighted vests, and whatever health trend showed up on Instagram this week.

Somewhere along the way, health became another thing many of us feel like we need to get right.

This week, I'm talking about sleep, stress, aging, grief, wellness trends, and the pressure to optimize everything, especially our health. Because I don't think most of us are actually chasing perfect routines. I think we're chasing energy, confidence, peace, and a life we're excited to wake up and live.

A conversation about feeling good, trusting yourself, and remembering to enjoy your life while you're busy trying to improve it.

Would love to hear from you!

  • The Golden Ages

School is out, the summer calendar is full, and lately I can't stop thinking about one thing.. What is it that we miss so much about summer?

This week I'm talking about 90s summers, Camp Nowhere, baseball games, childhood memories, and why I think we're living in what I like to call the golden ages right now.

    The years we'll miss someday.

I also share a story about my mom, raising kids, and the realization that while we're busy managing schedules, camps, snacks, and sunscreen, our kids are simply remembering how summer felt.

Maybe the magic was never in perfect summers. Maybe it was just being fully there for them.

  • Questions Women Secretly Google at 2AM - With Dr. Sara DeNolf
    2026/05/28

This week on Navigating Between the Lines, Maggie sits down with OB-GYN Dr. Sara DeNolf for the women’s health conversation that usually happens in group chats, late night Google searches, or quietly in our own heads.

They get into pregnancy, miscarriage, fertility, postpartum recovery, painful periods, hormones, birth control, aging, and the pressure women constantly put on themselves to “do it all.” But beyond the medical side, this episode is really about normalizing the things women carry silently every day.

It’s honest, funny, emotional, and full of the conversations more women need to hear out loud.

Questions women secretly Google at 2am? Yeah… they covered those too.

  • Estate Planning Sounds Boring... Until It’s Your Family - With Matt Eilers
    2026/05/14

    Send us Fan Mail

We'll spend months researching strollers and preschool waitlist, but avoid having actual plans in place for our families.

This week I sat down with Matt Eilers from Medalist Wealth Management
and we talked about estate planning, saving for kids, life insurance, trusts, college funds, raising financially responsible kids, and all the stuff nobody really walks you through as a parent.

But this is NOT one of those intimidating finance conversations.

It’s practical. Real. Easy to understand. And somehow also made me immediately realize I need to update my own paperwork.

    We also talked about:
    — why families fight after someone passes
    — what happens when there’s no plan
    — teaching kids about money
    — whether parents should buy their kids cars
    — one spender child vs one saver child
    — why starting early matters more than starting big
    — and why women NEED to understand family finances too

Every parent should tune into this one! Follow up questions @ NBTL

  • May Is a Lot (And So Is Motherhood Right Now)
    2026/05/07

    Send us Fan Mail

This week feels like a lot… and if you’re a mom, you already know why.

School events, sports, work, birthdays, the invisible mental load… and somehow we’re also supposed to slow down and “enjoy it.”

I sat down with someone I know to talk about what motherhood actually feels like right now. Jessica James, a mom of three, full time career, and someone who looks like she has it all together.

    We got into:

    • the mental tabs that never close
    • mom guilt (even when you did everything right)
    • middle school, phones, and the pressure that comes with it
    • trying to be present while also doing everything
    • and how grief and motherhood can exist at the same time

This is one of those conversations that feels like a coffee catch-up… but also the kind that makes you feel less alone in your own life.
