What happens when we stop resisting our own humanity?

I want to start with that question today because it touches something we all experience, whether we recognize it in the moment or not.

Sometimes we find ourselves pushing against something. We resist a feeling, a conversation, a change we know we need, or perhaps a part of ourselves we haven't quite learned to accept.

Sometimes we resist because something doesn't feel right. Sometimes we resist because we are afraid. And sometimes, without even realizing it, we resist because what is being asked of us requires us to see ourselves differently.

But what if resistance isn't always something we need to overcome?

What if it is information?

What if, instead of judging ourselves for resisting, we could become curious about what that resistance is trying to tell us?
