We've brought in Kenyan basketball royalty for Episode 37! Javan and Edu are joined by the legendary Wingman, Nairobi City Thunder's absolute number one super-fan!

Wingman tells us the incredible story of his fan origin—from playing alongside current Thunder star Dima for the Shauri Moyo Bucks, to the tragic accident in 2019 that ended his playing career, to officially becoming the most electric hype man in Kenyan basketball. He breaks down how he single-handedly starts the arena-shaking chants, the massive success of his custom Nairobi City Thunder merchandise line (selling for 4,500 KES!), and his side hustle coaching hoops at Rosslyn Academy.

The crew gets serious about the 2026 KNBL Playoffs. We address the ongoing stadium controversies—why a team like Kisumu Lakeside is forced to play "home" games at Nyayo Stadium, and Wingman’s dream for a true "Wingman Arena" on Ngong Road.

Finally, it’s all about the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Wingman shares his firsthand stories from traveling with the team to the BK Arena in Kigali, the controversy surrounding imported players like Ghana Pamo refusing to train at Nyayo, and why Coach Brad Ebes needs to trust local Kenyan talent to get Thunder the ultimate continental victory.
