    Slacker folk duo Pall Mall Jesus kicks off the Fall 2026 No Cover season with an appearance in the KCSU studio. Excited to show off some of their songs from their first studio album, “With the Beetles,” released earlier this year. The recording blended an acoustic sound, personal introspection, and an infectious energy. They kept the energy going when KCSU's Ashley Crouch chatted with the duo about how their writing process has evolved since the band's roots.

    For our last No Cover episode of the school year, we invited the Fort Collins psych rock project Lounge Drugs into the KCSU studio. Jay LeCavalier and his band filled the room with distorted guitar, nimble rhythm, and some inspiring melodies on the recorder. Lounge Drugs' surreal interview includes some favorite Fort Collins artists, a rundown on Jay's motivations as a musician, and an upcoming release.
