Then it's time for the CFL, where the Calgary Stampeders are in a difficult spot after another rough weekend, while the Edmonton Elks continue to establish themselves as one of the West's top teams.

Finally, I pay tribute to Canadian boxing legend George Chuvalo, who passed away at 89. Chuvalo was one of the toughest heavyweight fighters Canada has ever produced and shared the ring with Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Joe Frazier, and other legends of the sport.
