    2026/05/01

S3 episode #9- This episode comes from pieces of Reflections #0326 where C. Herb Skoog interviews Rev. C. J. Freudenberg on 7/27/1983. The Reverend had written a thesis in 1947 at Trinity University in San Antonio, Tx and he discusses parts of that thesis relating to Native Americans and the Meusebach treaty. This episode touches on several things noted in this year's winner of the Myra Lee Adams Goff Sophienburg Award. This award is given every year to an essay author about the history of the area. This year's winner is Jaelynn Davidson. I am calling this episode-"the one treaty."
