Rosama joins The Jay Hill Podcast for an honest conversation about his journey from Paris, Texas to 600 Ent, coming up alongside BigXthaPlug, working at FedEx while his music was doing millions of views, fatherhood, personal growth, and why he believes his biggest moment is still ahead of him.
Long before the success, Rosama was making music.
He started rapping at nine years old, recorded inside a studio in his closet, played football, and eventually connected with BigXthaPlug in high school before the two discovered they were actually cousins. As their music began gaining traction, Rosama watched BigX get the spotlight first while continuing to build his own career.
His perspective on that journey?
“He just got the spotlight before I did.”
Rosama opens up about their early records, the rise of 600 Ent, and what it was like watching someone he came up with reach another level before him. He also addresses conversations surrounding his absence from the XXL Freshman cover and why he refuses to measure his journey against somebody else's timeline.
