  • What to Do When You Don’t Know What to Do — Part 1: Look to God
    2026/10/30

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode!

What do you do when the situation feels bigger than your ability to handle it—and you still don’t know your next step?

In Part One of this two-part conversation, Christie Hatten explores Jehoshaphat’s prayer in 2 Chronicles 20 and what it means to turn toward God while the outcome is still unfolding.

Through biblical teaching, honest reflection, and practical Christian life coaching questions, we’ll explore three ways to position ourselves:

    • Pause and turn toward God before reacting. • Pray honestly and release the outcome. • Seek wise support instead of carrying the battle alone.

You’ll consider what is yours to address, what you need to entrust to God, and who can support you as you move forward.

Bring your journal and one situation you’re ready to bring honestly before the Lord.

  • Don't Give Up: It's Bigger Than You
    2026/10/16

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode!

Have you ever wanted to give up—not because you stopped believing in God, but because you were tired?

In Episode 2 of My Story in HIStory, “Don’t Give Up, It’s Bigger Than You,” Christie Hatten shares an honest account of discouragement, disrupted plans, and the temptation to quit—and how turning to God in prayer helped her keep going.

Through 2 Corinthians 4:16–18, we explore inward renewal, an eternal perspective, and why the value of our obedience cannot be measured only by the results we see. What God has entrusted to us reaches beyond us.

In this episode, we reflect on: • Seeking God’s strength when we feel weary. • Recognizing growth in how we respond to difficulties. • Remaining faithful when visible results are uncertain. • Trusting God with what He is developing in us.

Take a moment to pause, ponder, and consider: Where do you need God’s strength to take your next faithful step?
