Welcome to My Rugby Journey. Our guest today is Ricky Guest, whose career has taken him from junior rugby with Pontyates and Tumble to captaining the Scarlets and Wales at age-grade level. Ricky made his Llanelli debut at just 17 and went on to enjoy a distinguished semi-professional career with clubs including Llangennech, Aberavon, Carmarthen Quins, Swansea and Llandovery, despite overcoming several serious shoulder injuries. His playing career concluded in memorable fashion as part of Llandovery’s Indigo Premiership-winning side, before he moved fully into coaching. After successful coaching periods with the Scarlets pathway and Narberth, Ricky is now beginning an exciting new chapter as Head Coach of Kidwelly RFC.
