  • I don't have to be available
    2026/02/13

Today, I was in the middle of my workout when my phone kept ringing.
Spam calls. Interruptions. Little disruptions pulling me out of my peace.

I noticed myself getting irritated — not because the calls mattered,
but because I kept abandoning myself to check them.

Then I remembered something simple and important:
    I had a choice.

I could turn the phone off.
I could stop being available by default.
And nothing burned down when I did.

This episode is a reflection on boundaries, self-trust, and the quiet power of choosing yourself — especially after years of being “on” for everyone else.

This podcast is for Gen X+ women who have been strong for a long time — and are starting to feel what it’s costing them.

If this moment felt familiar, you’re not alone here.

  • The Cost of Not Choosing Yourself
    2026/02/06

There’s a cost to not choosing yourself — and this morning, I felt it immediately.

Before I grounded myself, before I checked in with my body or my spirit, I answered a call.

And in that moment, I abandoned myself.

The rest of the day carried it.
    The tension.
    The irritation.
The quiet angst (and sometimes very loud) that shows up when you start your day already centered on what everyone else needs.

So many of us were taught that being strong means being available.
    Responsive.
    Capable.
    Self-sacrificing.

But strength does not mean abandoning yourself.

It doesn’t mean waking up and immediately bracing for other people’s expectations. It doesn’t mean postponing your own peace until later — if later even comes.

    This is not advice.
    It’s a reflection.

If you’ve ever wondered why your day felt off before it really started…
If you’ve ever felt the emotional residue of putting yourself last — first thing in the morning…

    You’re not imagining it.

You deserve to start your day without first asking what everybody else needs.
You deserve to belong to yourself.

If this felt familiar, you’re not alone here.

Private Peace Sessions are available for women navigating moments like this — when awareness arrives before change.

  • The Moment You Realize You Can’t Go Back
    2026/01/29

There’s a moment in personal growth when you realize you can’t go back.

Not because you don’t want to—but because something in you has shifted.

In this episode, Marlin reflects on what happens after boundaries are set and integrated. When old patterns no longer fit. When self-betrayal becomes impossible. When choosing yourself feels unfamiliar—but necessary.

    This conversation explores:

    • The grief that can come with growth
    • Why discomfort doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong
    • What it means to stand in a version of yourself that no longer disappears

If you’ve felt the quiet knowing that you can’t return to who you used to be, this episode is for you.

    Your peace doesn’t require permission.

  • When You Set a Boundary—and They Get Mad
    2026/01/22

Setting the boundary wasn’t the hard part.
    Living with the reaction was.

In this episode, Marlin talks about the emotional aftermath of choosing yourself—when people get mad, the room shifts, and old patterns try to pull you back in.

This is an honest reflection on:

    • Boundary guilt
    • Over-functioning and self-abandonment
    • Why discomfort doesn’t mean you did it wrong

If you’ve ever questioned yourself after finally saying no, this conversation is for you.

    Your peace doesn’t require permission.

  • The Quiet Moment Everything Changes: Choosing Boundaries Over Chaos
    2026/01/16

There’s a moment when you realize you’ve been living your life on mute.

    Not because you’re ungrateful.
Not because you hate your life.
But because the cost of holding everything together has become too heavy.

In this episode, I talk about the quiet awakening —
the moment you admit: I can’t keep living like this.

This month, we’re starting at the beginning: boundaries.
Not polite boundaries — life-saving ones.

If something inside you has been waking up,
    you’re not wrong.
    You’re becoming.

    Honor your peace. It’s non-negotiable.

  • Welcome to MY Peace Is Non-Negotiable
    2026/01/06

My Peace Is Non-Negotiable™ is a space for women who have been strong for a long time — the ones who hold things together, make hard decisions, and quietly carry more than most people see.

This is not a podcast about fixing yourself.
    You’re not broken.

And it’s not about becoming someone new.
You’ve already been too many things for too many people.

This episode opens the door to a different way of living — one rooted in honesty, boundaries, and choosing clarity over exhaustion.

If something in you has been waking up, you’re in the right place.
