Welcome to my new podcast, "My Mum Was Our Roadie", in which we explore the experience of being young, dumb and part of a rock band before the social media age. I'm Alex Camp; comedian, podcast host and veteran of multiple bands that never quite made it. I toured across the UK and Europe playing music from 2000-2014 but most of the classic underground bands, village hall gigs and wild stories have been lost to time. This podcast will endeavour to capture the memories of that unforgettable era and shine a light on the great bands that were sandwiched between the ages of physical and digital media.
