In this week's edition of Business Brew, Andy is joined by "The Brandfather" himself John Murphy. John shares his love of Hob Nobs, Hovis and more in this episode of Dream Store Brands.
After his struggles at Dunlop to find a trade mark for the world's first run-flat tyre, Denovo, John set up his own brand naming company which he soon turned into the world's leading brand consultancy, Interbrand.
Since then he has built his own brewery and beer brand, St. Peter's, transformed the ailing gin brand, Plymouth Gin into a global premium brand, and now owns the men's barbers and grooming chain Ruffians.
It's a fascinating conversation with someone who has been at the heart of branding for more than 50 years and has a fair few stories to tell.
