Randy and Ben break down by the numbers (247 Composite and National Title winners) the changes in rankings we have seen the the last 3 years for the talent that is required to win a National Championship in college football as compared to what was always needed from this metric previously. We also discuss how the gap between the top teams and the lower tiered teams has narrowed in recent years, and how all of this leads to an increased importance on coaching and player development. Lastly, we discuss how this relates to Sumrall and his staff, and how we can evaluate this in 2026 and beyond.

Randy and Ben discuss the finalization of the 2026 roster including the more recent transfer portal additions that we have not previously evaluated. We also look at the roster as a whole and where we see potential for gaps as move into spring practice. Lastly we give an update on the basketball team as we move into the latter part of the season and work towards tournament time.

Ben and Randy discuss the expectations for new head coach Jon Sumrall and set some key metrics for things we will be looking for in his first and second years' at UF. We also discuss his tenure as a head coach and whether or not it meets the "Gator Standard". Lastly, we discuss what he will need to do in order to have success beyond year 1 and 2 and what it will take for him to have a long term stint as the Gator's head coach.
