Barry Jenkins’ 2017 (UK release date) Oscar winner gets the Forgot You Forgot treatment. Adam watched in on blu-ray, no big deal, but does the blurb give the right movie nod for each actor?

Starring Mahershala Ali, Trevante Rhodes and Naomie Harris, this episode sees Joe and Adam tussle over the film’s choices, and whether poetry is better than realism. Oh, and coming-of-age movies more generally.

It's 2004's indie rom-com Garden State, starring (and written & directed by) Zach Braff of Scrubs fame. Also Natalie Portman. Joe & Adam discuss this and also debate the differences between movies and films.

Find out Joe’s rubbish excuses for not having watched Garden State. Never mind, because the pair had still watched some other movies/films that they chatted about instead.

Mainly, The End of Oak Street. Why is David Robert Mitchell’s 80s-inflected Amblin-style popcorn blockbuster getting so many shrugs?

Joe likes football, and he’s seen a sort of football based documentary - The Last Resident of the Holloway Motel.

Also on the docket: a bit on the latest Spiderman (Brand New Day!) and Joe’s finally seen Before The Devil Knows Your Dead. Did he like it?

Cul-de-sac chats veer off into strip club territory. Excuses and reasons aplenty.

Mathieu Kassovitz's 1995 French masterpiece La Haine is the topic of today's episode. Joe & Adam dive into the film but also discuss: in-laws, Cliff Curtis' character names, how many Speilberg references are there in the film? And more.

The 2002 action thriller, The Bourne Identity got forgot; really? Adam says so, says he’s a Supremacy guy… but what of the Doug Liman director first one, scripted by Tony Gilroy?

What are the best bits? Who would we be if we got Bourned? Who is Jason Bourne? Who is a good recast for a modern (baby) Bourne?

All this and more!

How much is there to say about 1997’s The Fifth Element, beyond the great production design and some fun performances… not a whole lot it turns out.

There’s the Gary Oldman Game though, and who won acting Oscar chat, and there is a prolonged diversion into Django Unchained.
