What do monsters have to do with the Bible? Quite a bit, according to Mark, Pastor Burt, and Pastor Josh. In this Halloween themed episode, the hosts explore the Bible’s supernatural side. Great sea creatures, Leviathan, Behemoth, giants, goat demons, Lilith, and Azazel. Along the way, they unpack how these beings fit into the biblical story, where later folklore adds to the picture, and why a “unicorn” in an old King James translation isn’t quite what you might think. The conversation’s big idea: these strange and fearsome creatures may be powerful, but they’re never presented as God’s equals. So whether you’re curious about biblical oddities or just here for the monster talk, climb aboard the Monster Mash Train!
