In this episode we discuss Tyler's 'fishing story' and how he broke into commercial fishing.

Tyler gives his impressions of the Striped bass season thus far and gets into the success he's had fishing Cape Cod Bay. Tyler goes into detail on some of his favorite lures and squid imitations in what has been the year of the squid.

We transition into the fall run and specifically albies. Tyler gives us his thoughts on the 'startle bite.' Tyler notes that he expects the albie bite to really get going here on the south side of Cape Cod and he will be searching near and far to get his clients on them.

Kevin and Eddy wrap up with some thoughts on the extended sea bass season coming up in September and early October.

In our show towards the end of August, Kevin and Eddy welcome Captain Chris Ballerini from Back of the Bay Charters.

Chris brings to the podcast has detailed insights into the Cape Cod Bay fishing this season as he puts his customers on the fish in his home water of the three bays and even covers the waters with his clients on the other side of CCB.

Chris details effective techniques from what has been a strong season in CCB and talks about the upcoming funny fish season. Chris excels in tactics for albies and bonito getting into specific details on gear, tackle, and strategy.

Kevin and Eddy end the podcast with a quick wrap up on Monomoy and fishing in what is hopefully the end of the 'Dog Days' of summer.

On this week's edition of the MyFishingCapeCod podcast taped with host Kevin Collins and guest Eddy Kooyomjian, we do an update on the fishing at Monomoy in the late summer. The two topics continue to be the strong black sea bass bite and the 'hit or miss' Striped Bass bite. We discuss the presence (finally) of some consistent bluefish action along the south side beaches. We touch on the 'funny fish' as well with rumors of Albies with the only 'real' intel being focused on Martha's Vineyard at the moment.

We get into a bit of gear talk with the Z-Step being an effective and versatile lure this time of year. We also discuss some effective lures for the funny fish season as well.

In this Episode Kevin and Eddy get into the topic of 'Summer Doldrums' and touch on some of the impressions of fishing on Cape Cod right now. Towards the end of the podcast we give a mid season 'grade' on fishing for various species.

The primary topic of this MSJ is the developing Bonito fishery over the last couple years on Cape, focusing on the South Side. We get into some tactics, including Monomoy Tackle product recommendations. We discuss some theories on why these fish are more prevalent now than in years past.

Cape Cod fishing hit a rare stretch this past weekend where two completely different styles of fishing both turned on. Monomoy Tackle founder and owner Eddy Kooyomjian had a front row seat for all the action and was kind enough to provide us with a fresh in-depth report!

Eddy taped this weekend's podcast report fresh off a Friday fluke trip on the outer shoals and a Saturday morning bonito run that produced the most solid funny fish intel the podcast has gotten all season. Between the two days, Eddy fished calm, glassy conditions on Friday and a fast-moving, bird-driven blitz on Saturday, coming home with a full rundown of where the fish are holding and exactly what is putting them in the boat.

In this episode of the MFCC podcast, Cousins Bruno Demir and Eddy Kooyomjian are fishing with their kids on a family trip on Bruno's downeast boat. Kevin Collins from MFCC interviews Bruno while actively fishing for fluke and the bite is going strong off Monomoy and Nantucket Sound waters.

Bruno and Eddy also discuss their collabraotive effort with MFCC to help raise money for Boston Children's Hospital through the 'Fluke versus Cancer' fundraiser.
