Monday's goodbyes and hellos, weekend included: American Express plans about 3,500 job cuts (New York, New York), The Blade newspaper in Toledo, Ohio files a WARN notice for 116 employees ahead of a Dec. 31 closure, Foster USA plans to close in Winston-Salem, North Carolina (169 workers), Powered by FTGU files for 62 layoffs at a third snack plant in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Success Lending winds down in Schaumburg, Illinois (121 workers), and Parks Canada cuts the equivalent of about 500 jobs, including staff in Jasper and Banff, Alberta.

Veronika turns every one into a lead: a Manhattan job fair with finance roles plus remote fintech jobs, today's Toledo Zoo hiring event and Toledo Tool and Die openings, factory jobs in Winston-Salem and Morrisville, North Carolina, a new Chick-fil-A in Leominster and a Fitchburg tech job, a Nordstrom hiring day at Woodfield Mall, and winter jobs at the Lake Louise Ski Resort. Bonus relocation lead: Audi's first US plant, with about 4,500 jobs in Georgia.
