  • The Stones Still Testify
    2026/05/21

There comes a moment in every believer’s life when God calls them to stop walking in circles and finally cross over into what He has promised.

In this powerful message from Joshua 3, Steve Anderson of Stand My Ground Ministries dives deep into the crossing of the Jordan River — a moment where Israel had to leave the wilderness behind and step by faith into a new season.

But crossing over required something difficult:
They had to stop holding onto the past.

    The wilderness was familiar.
    The pain was familiar.
    The bondage was familiar.
Even the struggle had become comfortable.

And many people today are standing at the edge of their Jordan holding onto old addictions, old wounds, old mindsets, old failures, old church hurt, old identities, and old excuses — wondering why they cannot step into what God has prepared for them.

God never intended for His people to live trapped in yesterday.

Joshua told the people to sanctify themselves because God was about to do wonders among them. And when the priests carrying the Ark stepped into the overflowing Jordan, God made a way where there was no way.

    This sermon reminds us:

    • You cannot carry your past and fully walk into your promise.

    • Sometimes the miracle starts when your feet step into impossible waters.

    • God will part things in your life once you finally trust Him enough to move forward.

But the story doesn’t end with crossing over.

After Israel crossed, Joshua commanded stones to be taken from the middle of the Jordan and set up as a memorial — a testimony for future generations.

    Those stones represented:
    “What God brought us through.”

And just like those stones, the scars, battles, storms, addictions, failures, and deliverances in our lives can become testimonies that point people back to the faithfulness of God.

You don’t stay in the river…
But you never forget what God did there.

The enemy wants your past to shame you.
God wants to use it to testify through you.

So when people ask how you made it…
You can point back to the stones.

  • “Bitten By the Viper But Still Standing | Acts 27–28 KJV”
    2026/05/21

There are storms in life that don’t come because God failed us…
They come because people refused to listen to the warning.

In this powerful message from the book of Acts, Steve Anderson of Stand My Ground Ministries walks through the journey of Paul during the shipwreck — a man of God surrounded by people who ignored wisdom, mocked the warning, and sailed straight into destruction. What followed was chaos, fear, broken pieces, and survival in the middle of a violent storm.

But the story didn’t end in the wreck.

After surviving the storm, Paul was bitten by a deadly viper while gathering wood for the fire. The people around him stood back watching… waiting… expecting him to fall over and die.

And isn’t that exactly how the world still operates today?

    People ignore the warning.
    They reject truth.
Then when the storm finally hits their life, they look for someone else to blame.
And when the child of God gets wounded, attacked, or bitten by life’s vipers — spiritual attacks, betrayal, addiction, sickness, depression, persecution — there are always people standing around waiting to see if you’ll finally quit… finally collapse… finally die spiritually.

    But Paul didn’t die.

Because when you are filled with the Holy Ghost and standing in the will of God, what was meant to kill you cannot destroy what God has called.

This sermon is a reminder that:

    • The storm may wreck the ship, but it cannot wreck God’s purpose.

    • The viper may bite, but it does not have the final word.

    • People may sit back waiting for your downfall, but God is still sustaining His people.

If you’ve ever felt surrounded by voices that ignored the warning…
If you’ve ever felt like people were watching your struggle hoping you would fail…
If you’ve ever been wounded but refused to let go of Jesus…

    This message is for you.

    Acts 27–28 KJV
“...and he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.” — Acts 28:5 KJV

  • Get In Line
    2026/05/21

☕ This week on Stand My Coffee Grounds – Episode 6, we’re talking about getting our lives back in line with the Word of God.

Using Matthew 19:30 and the plumbline from Amos 7:7-8 (KJV), we’ll look at how God’s standard never changes — even when the world around us does.

📖 “The first shall be last; and the last shall be first.”
📏 God is still holding the plumbline.
🔥 The question is: are we willing to line up with His Word?

This week’s devotional is about humility, obedience, and letting God realign our hearts with Him.

☕ Grab your coffee and study with us Monday morning.

  • AGAPE | The Love That Still Reaches Broken People
    2026/05/20

In this episode of the Stand My Ground Ministries Podcast, Steve & Christina Anderson dive into the true Biblical meaning of AGAPE love.

    Not emotional love.
    Not conditional love.
Not the fake version the world promotes.

This is the sacrificial love of God shown through Jesus Christ — a love that reaches addicts, the broken, the weary, the rejected, and the lost.

    We discuss:
    • What AGAPE really means in Scripture
    • How God’s love differs from worldly love
    • Why truth and love must go together
    • Loving people without compromising the Word of God
    • How the love of Christ changes lives

This episode is raw, honest, Scripture-based, and rooted in the King James Bible.

If you’ve ever questioned whether God still loves you after failure, pain, addiction, or wandering away… this conversation is for you.
