  • You Are Not Lost. You Are in the Middle.
    2026/08/03

MONDAY MINDSET RESET — EPISODE 1

You are not lost. You are in the middle.

10–14 min · Naming the middle of change · Season 1

If you have been calling this season of your life failure, or weakness, or evidence that you made wrong choices — this episode is for you.

There is a phase between what ended and what hasn't started yet. It has a name. It has a map. And once you have language for where you are, everything about what's possible from here starts to shift.

    IN THIS EPISODE

→ What the middle of change actually is — and why disorientation is not the same as failure

→ Why your nervous system sounds an alarm when the familiar disappears (and what that tells you)

→ The Oklahoma metaphor — and why it changes everything about how you see where you are

→ The five phases of transition: a map for locating yourself honestly

→ A reflection question to carry into the week

    THE FIVE PHASES OF TRANSITION

Disruption — something ended or destabilized. You're activated, numb, or both.

Disorientation — you're not where you were. You're not yet where you're going. This is Oklahoma.

Identity Reconstruction — deeper questions are surfacing. Who am I without that role, that relationship, that version of my life?

Intentional Choice — energy is returning. Small steps feel possible.

Integration — this transition is becoming part of your story, not the whole story.

    THIS WEEK'S REFLECTION

What have you been calling this season of your life?

What word have you been using? Lost. Behind. Stuck. Confused. Burned out. A failure. Now try a different one. In the middle. Not there yet. Not failing. In the middle. Notice if anything shifts.

    ANCHOR STATEMENT

The middle of change is not a problem to solve. It is a location. And you can orient yourself from a location.

  • What Oklahoma Feels Like from the Inside
    2026/08/10

MONDAY MINDSET RESET — EPISODE 2

What Oklahoma feels like from the inside

10–13 min · Naming the middle of change · Season 1

Last week you got the name for where you are. This week we stay there.

Because naming it once isn't always enough. Disorientation has a way of convincing you that you're the only person who has ever felt this way. That everyone else has a map and you lost yours.

You didn't lose anything. You're in a place that doesn't have familiar landmarks. And this episode is about what that actually feels like from the inside.

    IN THIS EPISODE

→ The quiet unmooring — what disorientation actually feels like, and why it isn't obvious to anyone watching

→ Why your nervous system has been scanning for something that's no longer there (and why that's physiology, not weakness)

→ The story of Renee — a client who had everything built and still felt like she was disappearing

→ A sensory grounding practice you can use anywhere, anytime the scanning gets loud

    → This week's reflection question

    THE PRACTICE — SENSORY GROUNDING

When the disorientation starts to feel like evidence of something being wrong, this practice pulls your nervous system out of what might happen and back into what is actually here.

→ 5 things you can see — look at them, don't just name them

→ 4 things you can physically feel

→ 3 things you can hear

→ 2 things you can smell

→ 1 thing you can taste

Then ask: in this exact moment — not last week, not next month — am I actually in danger? Almost always the answer is no. Uncomfortable. Uncertain. But not in danger. That's the distinction your nervous system needs. Not reassurance. Just accuracy.

    THIS WEEK'S REFLECTION

What familiar landmark disappeared — a role, a relationship, a version of yourself — that your system is still scanning for?

Not to fix it. Not to decide whether you want it back. Just to name what your nervous system has been looking for in the dark.

The body can't grieve what the mind won't name. And it can't stop scanning for what the mind won't acknowledge is gone.

Name it this week. That's all.

    ANCHOR STATEMENT

"You are not behind. You are not broken. You are between two knowns. That is a real place. It has a name. And it has a way through."
