In Episode 2 of Chasing Sanity, we’re unpacking cultural differences in a parenting, because not everybody was raised the same, and it shows up in everything, and we do mean EVERYTHING.
We’re getting into what we were told to do (or absolutely not do) while pregnant, the unspoken rules during the newborn stage, and how different cultures approach rest, support, and who gets access to your child.
We grew up with villages…real ones. Family showed up, stepped in, and had opinions, whether you asked or not. Now, boundaries are louder, support can feel quieter, and somehow expecting a little structure makes you seem like you’re doing too much.
So we’re asking the real questions: what are we keeping, what are we side-eyeing, and what are we not negotiating on?
Honest, funny, and a little triggering…the usual.
