A "non-artist"/"non-creative" finds her creativity through freedom from the corporate world and builds a ceramics business! Inspiring right?

Nik Leschinski could choose any career and flourish, but this time she found something that truly helps spread her creative wings, and with that the confidence to try new things, lean in to imperfection, and live the life of a working artist.

Mitch and Mike talk with Nik about the differences and similarities between our businesses, what/who it takes to follow your dreams, what it's like being married to Mitch (YIKES), and other fun stuff!

Yes this is Mitch writing this, and yes I COULD go on about how great my wife is, but you should just meet her and buy a little Michigan Mouse Mug or somethin'.

When you start a new career or hobby, you cross paths with many different types of folks. Newbies, veterans, meanie heads, nice-y heads, and people who generally want to help.

A long long time ago Christopher Marshall came across a new voice actor named Mitch Leschinski, and as fate would have it they are both still kickin' around in the ol' VO biz!

Christopher wears many hats. To many, he is a fun and almost cartoonish fella with a new character around every corner. Sit him down, and he will bring the fun, but he will also bring the freakin' KNOWLEGE dude! He understands the behind the scenes, the sound, and the intricacies of a bunch of genres, all while potentially coasting on 4-ish hours of sleep some days!

Talk about self made...
Dela B went from "what's voice acting?" to "lets do this" and nothing can get in her way!

Dela reminds us that a bit of curiosity, tenacity, and a bit of being quarantined during a pandemic can lead to an ever blossoming career. By blossom, we mean memorable main characters in popular video games kind of stuff and even multiple award nominations!
Looking for someone who took a slightly different VO path? Listen to this episode!
