  • 175: Stop Glorifying the Bare Minimum & Expect More From Men
    2026/08/31
In this 23-minute episode, I explore what it really means to expect more from men; not from a place of criticism or perfectionism, but from a belief in their capacity to grow.

We talk about the difference between supporting our partners and becoming their therapists, mothers, or emotional managers; why we need to stop glorifying breadcrumbs and the bare minimum; and how overfunctioning can prevent the people we love from stepping up and taking responsibility for their own growth.

I also explore the Kabbalistic concept of “earning the light,” why growth often requires choosing the uncomfortable path, and what Ted Lasso can teach us about a version of masculinity where pain, vulnerability, kindness, accountability, and strength can coexist.

Ultimately, this episode is an invitation to raise our standards without trying to control another person and to remember that believing in someone’s potential also means believing they’re capable of doing their own work.

  • 174: Do We Attract People or Do We Entertain Them?
    2026/07/31
In this 10-minute episode, I explore the question: Do we attract certain people, or do we choose to entertain them?

Through the lens of attachment theory, I unpack why we’re often drawn to what feels familiar rather than what is healthy, how childhood patterns can shape our adult relationships, and why we may unconsciously try to “change the ending” of old wounds.

I also bring in an IFS perspective and share reflective questions to help you understand which parts of you become activated in certain relationship dynamics.

If you keep finding yourself in similar patterns, this episode is an invitation to look inward with curiosity, compassion, and greater awareness.

  • 173: The Art of Slowing Down
    2026/07/02
In this 11-minute episode, I share a simple kayaking experience from a recent trip to New Brunswick that unexpectedly became one of the biggest lessons I've had in slowing down, self-awareness, and the stories we unknowingly carry through life.

When my husband and I kept falling behind on a guided kayak tour, I noticed how quickly I slipped into feeling like a burden and wanting to rush to keep up. What happened next made me pause and ask: How often are we rushing through life without ever questioning why?

Together, we'll explore how everyday moments can become powerful opportunities for self-reflection, why our triggers often reveal old beliefs rather than present-day reality, and how learning to slow down can help us reconnect with ourselves, the people around us, and the life we're so busy trying to build.

If you've ever felt like you're always chasing the next thing, worried about inconveniencing others, or struggled to simply be present, this episode is for you.
