  • The Body Know - A Guided Meditation For Decision Making
    2026/04/30

Struggling to make a decision? Your body already knows the answer; you just need to learn how to listen.

This 15 minute guided meditation is designed to help you access your body's interoceptive signals; the quiet internal sensations that guide us toward what's truly right for us, even when our minds feel overwhelmed.

Unlike most meditations, this one is fully accessible for neurodivergent people. There are no breathing exercises you have to follow, no pressure to sit still, and no single "right way" to practise. Movement, fidgeting, and open eyes are all welcome here.

    WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

    – How to use body-based signals (not thoughts) to navigate difficult decisions

    – Four alternative anchors to use instead of breath focus

    – How to distinguish between your body's "yes" and "no" sensations

    – A repeatable practice you can return to whenever you face a crossroads

THIS MEDITATION IS ESPECIALLY HELPFUL IF YOU...

    – Are autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent

    – Struggle with alexithymia or identifying your emotions

    – Find traditional meditation inaccessible or frustrating

    – Feel stuck in overthinking and analysis paralysis

    – Want to reconnect with your own inner guidance

    ABOUT INTEROCEPTION

Interoception is your body's ability to sense its own internal state — heartbeat, gut feeling, tension, warmth, and more. Research shows it plays a key role in emotional regulation and decision-making. This meditation gently develops that awareness in an accessible, non-clinical way.
