The Horizon League basketball championships for 2027 are heating up with a major change — the finals move to Noblesville’s Riverview Health Arena, spotlighting top seeds with byes and reseeding. Men’s tournament: 11 teams, play-in on March 1, first-round games March 4 on campuses, then Noblesville — but Detroit Mercy’s men’s team is ineligible due to academic standards. Women’s tournament: all 12 teams compete, but only 6 advance to Noblesville.

Milwaukee Panthers gear up for a brutal 2026-27 Horizon League season, opening at home against reigning champs Wright State before hitting the road hard — including back-to-back games at Northern Illinois and Detroit Mercy. They’ll end the regular season with a strong home stretch featuring Purdue Fort Wayne, Northern Kentucky, and Youngstown State, plus rematches with Oakland and IU Indy. Four of their final six games are at home, setting the stage for a high-stakes conference tournament in March.
