  • Great Grief | Navigating Loss & Unexpected Emotions
    2026/06/08

    Welcome back!

In this episode of Mental Mom3nts, we’re talking about unexpected grief, how it can surface long after a loss or life transition occurs, and why acknowledging your emotions is an important part of healing.

Grief is often associated with the passing of a loved one, but grief can also emerge through major life changes, shifting relationships, career transitions, and experiences we never fully gave ourselves permission to process.

In this conversation, we explore what happened when delayed grief unexpectedly surfaced in the middle of a busy season of life, how distraction can sometimes postpone healing, and why making space for support matters.

This episode is a reminder that grief does not operate on a schedule. Sometimes emotions arrive long after the moment that caused them. And when they do, they deserve to be acknowledged rather than dismissed.

We also discuss the importance of allowing yourself to feel your emotions without judgment, seeking support when needed, and understanding that experiencing grief is not a sign of weakness.

Grief is a reflection of love, connection, change, and humanity.

You do not have to carry it alone.

✨ How grief can appear long after a loss or major life transition
✨ Why busy seasons can delay emotional processing
✨ The connection between grief, sadness, anger, and healing
✨ Why therapy and support systems matter during difficult seasons
✨ The importance of acknowledging emotions instead of suppressing them
✨ Practical ways to navigate grief in healthy and supportive ways

“Grief is not weakness. It is often love, gratitude, and awareness asking to be acknowledged.”

Take a moment to reflect on an experience, loss, or life transition you may not have fully processed.

    Ask yourself:

What emotions have I been avoiding or pushing aside?

Give yourself permission to acknowledge whatever comes up without judgment. Healing often begins when we allow ourselves to be honest about what we are feeling.

Many people believe they should be "over it" after a certain amount of time has passed.

But grief doesn't follow a timeline.

Whether you're grieving a loved one, a relationship, a life transition, or a version of yourself that no longer exists, your emotions deserve space and attention.

When we allow ourselves to process grief rather than suppress it, we create opportunities for healing, growth, and deeper self-understanding.

You are not weak because you are feeling.

    You are human.

  • Preparing Through the Unseen | Building Toward Your Dreams
    2026/06/01

    Welcome back!

In this episode of Mental Mom3nts, we’re talking about preparing through the unseen, staying connected to your dreams, and learning how to build toward the future before you can fully see it.

As life becomes busier and responsibilities increase, it can be easy to lose sight of the dreams, ideas, and desires that once excited us. Survival mode has a way of shifting our focus to what needs to happen today while quietly pulling our attention away from where we hope to go tomorrow.

In this conversation, we explore how to reconnect with your dreams, create space for what matters most, and continue learning and growing even when the path ahead isn't completely clear.

This episode is a reminder that preparation doesn’t always look like having all the answers. Sometimes preparation looks like staying curious, making room for your goals, and taking small steps of faith toward the life you're building.

You don't have to know exactly how everything will work out to begin preparing for what's next.

The dreams placed on your heart are there for a reason.

✨ Why reconnecting with your dreams matters
✨ How survival mode can cause you to lose sight of your purpose
✨ The importance of identifying the deeper "why" behind your goals
✨ Practical ways to create space for your future while managing today
✨ How curiosity and continuous learning prepare you for opportunity
✨ Why small, consistent actions matter more than having a perfect plan

“Preparation begins long before the opportunity arrives.”

Take a moment to reflect on a dream or goal you've placed on the back burner.

    Ask yourself:

What is one small action I can take this week to move closer to the future I want to build?

Consider how you can create just a little more space in your schedule, thoughts, or habits for the dreams that still matter to you.

Many people become so focused on surviving their current season that they stop preparing for the next one.

But growth often happens long before the results are visible.

When you continue learning, exploring, and investing in your goals, you're building a foundation that will support future opportunities when they arrive.

You don't need to have every detail figured out to move forward. You simply need to stay connected to your purpose and remain willing to take the next step.

  • Valuing Solitude | Finding Clarity, Confidence & Connection
    2026/05/25

    Welcome back!
In this episode of Mental Mom3nts, we’re talking about solitude, why seasons of being alone can feel uncomfortable, and how solitude can actually become a space for healing, clarity, and personal growth.

We often hear that we are not meant to do life alone — and that’s true. Community, support, and healthy relationships matter deeply. But there are also seasons where stepping back, becoming still, and spending intentional time with yourself becomes necessary.

In this conversation, we explore the difference between isolation and solitude, how insecurity can impact the way we build relationships, and what it looks like to remain connected to yourself while navigating personal growth, uncertainty, and change.

This episode also unpacks how solitude can reveal the ways we shrink ourselves, seek validation, or question whether we are fully accepted for who we truly are.

Solitude is not punishment. It’s often preparation.

When approached intentionally, solitude creates space for clarity, healing, self-awareness, and deeper connection with God, yourself, and the people around you.

You are not meant to live disconnected from others, but you are also not meant to lose yourself trying to stay connected.

✨ The difference between isolation and intentional solitude
✨ How insecurity can impact relationships and self-acceptance
✨ Why solitude can support emotional healing and personal clarity
✨ The importance of maintaining your identity while building connections
✨ How therapy, prayer, and self-reflection support growth
✨ Practical ways to navigate seasons of solitude without disconnecting completely

“Solitude is not about disconnecting from others. It’s about reconnecting with yourself.”

Take a moment to reflect on how you spend time with yourself.

    Ask yourself:
Am I creating intentional space for clarity and self-reflection, or am I withdrawing from fear and overwhelm?

Consider one way you can intentionally reconnect with yourself this week through rest, prayer, journaling, therapy, or quiet reflection.

Many people struggle with being alone because solitude can force us to confront insecurities, fears, emotional overwhelm, and questions about identity.

But intentional solitude can also become one of the most transformative spaces for growth.

When you create room to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself, you build stronger self-awareness, healthier relationships, and greater confidence in who you are becoming.

You deserve relationships and environments where you don’t feel pressured to shrink yourself to belong.
